It cannot dissolve in water, but dissolve in organic solvents such as methyl benzene, etc. For its small compression deformation & saturated vapor resistance properties, it can be applied in aviation, electronics manufacturing, mechanical industry & chemical industry, etc. It is used to manufacture sealing material resisting to high & low temperature, waterproof materials, damp-proof insulation materials. For its physiological inertia, it is applied in the field of medicine & sanitation to manufacture artificial organ & medical pipes. Also it is raw material of high temperature vulcanize silicone rubber.
